Meet Shawn Juris, He founded The Juris Agency in 2006 with the goal of creating a more thoughtful, responsive insurance experience. With a background in civic leadership and risk management, Shawn brings a unique combination of analytical thinking and real-world empathy to his work.
From serving as a Lakewood city councilmember to founding a civic group that runs community events, Shawn’s passion for people and systems shows up in every client interaction. He lives in Westlake with his wife and kids, and continues to guide the agency with the same hands-on energy it was founded on.

Since 2017, I’ve been dedicated to helping clients protect what matters most. I take the time to understand each person’s unique needs and provide thoughtful guidance so they can feel confident in their coverage and supported every step of the way. Building trusted relationships is at the heart of what I do, and I’m proud to stay connected to my community by attending local events, meeting neighbors, and volunteering at my church. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing basketball and golf, and cheering on Cleveland sports—especially as a proud Cleveland Browns season ticket holder.
